The festival itself was a huge success. There was an excellent turnout for this 4-day event from 3-6 April 2021 at Lhong 1919, especially considering how much anxiety there is surrounding COVID-19. It was so good to see old friends and meet so many new ones.
I really enjoyed getting to mingle and share ideas with other artists and even set up some potential collaboration projects! Stay tuned in the newsletter and on my site for news about those collabs!
I always wanted to thank the Mango Art Festival team for putting on such a fantastic event. It was a profound honour to participate and share my work, and I can tell that this festival will be a beautiful addition to Thailand’s art world.
I also wanted to take a moment to express my extreme gratitude to all of you who came to this inaugural festival and especially to those that dropped by to view my exhibition of Crossing Boundaries during the 1st Mango Art Festival 🥭✨ between 3-6 April 2021 at Lhong 1919. I’m really proud of this body of work, and it was an honour to share it with all of you.
About Crossing Boundaries
This new photographic series represents a further step in my experimentation with the boundaries of representation and abstraction. The series is heavily influenced by my personal experience of crossing between two cultures. By blurring the boundaries between image and method, the series reflects the very idea that inspired it: overcoming boundaries in life.

If you weren’t able to view Crossing Boundaries at the festival, or you weren't able to attend the festival at all, you can still keep in touch to keep up with the exhibit and see it in the future!
Once again, thank you all so much for supporting me and for supporting the first-ever Mango Art Festival. It was truly an honour to participate in this event and help continue to push Thai arts to enter the world market.
