Kwasi Boyd-Bouldin (b. 1977) is a Los Angeles based photographer whose work focuses on the urban environment. By exploring the relationship between a neighborhood’s physical composition and the lives of those who inhabit it, his photo essays tell stories that are often taken for granted by the casual observer. He was accepted into and attended the 2018 New York Times Portfolio Review and has had photography featured in Curbed LA, The New York Times, and Slate France. He was also one of Time Magazine's 12 African American Photographers to Follow in 2017.
