A&A Orchards is right outside of Eureka Springs in the Ozarks of Arkansas. The sustainable farm is at the forefront of integrating native plant species, pollinator gardens, and regenerative farming techniques. The emphasis on local food systems is what makes the orchard a truly incredible business — spearheaded by the owners and founders, John and Elizabeth Aselage. John is a pommeologist with decades of work, research, and consultation dedicated to the healthy ecosystems of apple and fruit orchards. I spent the morning interviewing John and Elizabeth through the beautiful landscape of the nectarine, apple, pear, and peach trees at A&A Orchards. These are the images that I captured of our morning.
