Brooke Bierhaus is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and visual storyteller. Creator of the feature length documentary, The Connected Cup, Brooke specializes in narrative driven storytelling with an immersive approach. Documenting local stories with a global perspective.

She began her career in wildlife reporting and photography, and with a background in human rights and ethnology, she began to work with communities surrounding wildlife areas to share stories of conservation, co-existing, and indigenous origins. Brooke thrives in creating work that makes people feel seen, heard, and valued.
She is a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Journalism 2015. Brooke is currently pursuing her Masters in Cultural Anthropology and Visual Ethnography.
