In the months of summer 2019, people of Puerto Rico took the streets calling for the resignation of Governor Ricardo Rosselló after leak of internal Telegram chat and corruption investigations in his administration. After an intense marathon of protests and escalating clashes between demonstrators and police, Rosselló resigned.
