Vicky Azcoitia is an independent documentary photographer. Her images document the relationship between people and nature. Her work strives to address the importance of our natural environment, as well as to foster its respect and renewal.
From 2002, she has participated in exhibitions internationally. From the Museum of the City of New York to the Chefchaouen International Photography Festival in Marocco, in the last years.Natural History Magazine will publish next May Issue 2017, her first work collaboration with her husband as a writer, Adam Lederer: Rio Tinto and Mines.
She holds a degree in Graphic Design by the Istituto Europeo di Design, in Madrid, and graduated in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the International Center of Photography, in New York City. She is starting her Master in Professional Studies in Digital Photography at the School of Visual Arts this fall 2017.
When not on the road, Vicky spends her time between the City and the Catskills.
