For more than sixty years, Baltazar Ushca has walked up to ice mines of Chimborazo volcano, the highest mountain in Ecuador, to cut ice out of the glacier and sell it in the marketplace of capital of the province, Riobamba - initially as one of many, but currently he is considered the last of his kind. But now his son-in-law, Juan, has taken over this hard work. What drives him up?
