"Every single mother is a village" - the women and children that fight to survive the pandemic (National Geographic Brasil)"Seven women photographers document 14 mothers from around Brazil - women in search of physical and mental space to deal with work, education of their children, safety before the coronavirus and their relationships."
We are thrilled that National Geographic Brasil has published a piece written by Patrícia Monteiro about the project that we, seven photographers in different regions, have worked on together since August with the support of National Geographic Society's Emergency Fund for Journalists, following the stories and days lived by women that are single mothers in seven different regions of the country during the pandemic. More information about the project can be found on our recently launched website and instagram.
With Patrícia Monteiro (São Paulo), Isabella Lanave (Paraná), Ingrid Barros (Maranhão), Shai Andrade (Bahia), Tayná Sateré (Amazonas) and Andressa Zumpano (Distrito Federal).
