Summary
Asian & Pacific Islanders Americans are the fastest-growing group of the nation’s eligible voters, which has more than doubled in the last two decades. 6 out of 10 API Americans in the U.S. were able to vote in the 2020 presidential election.
I wanted to photograph API American voters from different ethnicities, social and economic backgrounds, and age groups.  I aimed to highlight the importance of Asian & Pacific Islander American’s participation in the democratic process and to address some of the concerns they are facing in the country.
