Welcome to the party. The New York City block party.
Last month I had the privilege of covering block parties in the Glendale and Ridgewood neighborhoods of Queens for the massive time capsule piece for The New York Times. The project led by Jeffery Furticella had 20 photographers cover 65 block parties across New York City, from the Boogie Down Bronx to the Dark Side of Brooklyn and beyond. I'm incredibly grateful to have been included in this piece documenting this cultural fabric of New York City and honored to have my work alongside such talented photographs. The story is up online now and will come out in print this Sunday!
