National Day USA

Washington D.C 2010 4th of July

Right in the heart of the nation is where the proudest come to party... celebrate independence. Sunday July 4th 2010, I was there, hanging out with the most lively folks, I heard Reba McEntire was there.  It was extremely hot that day; especially on the lawn not may places to hide from the sun, but a large percentage of us arrived early to get the best seats!  We got in our fill of sights and sounds in the morning, and stopped off for some grub, relaxed in the shade while we eat. The flag was displayed most astonishingly! If I had known I would not of bought this shirt. I thought It would be a good way to keep track of each other, you know so we don’t get lost!?

We moved on and found some good old boys playing music, there was a good vibe over there, real relaxed, mellow, and calm. I rather enjoyed it…The artist/musicians began outlining the pot smokers’ civil rights! God given rights! Even legalization…  when the dopers started to get real passionate, the boys in blue came in for a sweep. Standard procedure im sure at a venue like this one was. The extremist potheads shouted at the “pigs” and we took pictures of them! These loud mouths are the face for weed.  You not going to get anywhere acting like that you silly stoners, jesh… When the reefermaddness set in and the crowds got to big we were gone! ran in to a few gems on the way out of the mainstay, and as the day turned in to night, and the heat turned to cool. We relaxed and let the party continue on, I don’t know how you do it. You’re a real trooper!

After a much needed cool down, we headed back to the core to help out the lethargic; I was frightened, it sounded like a war! Why do we celebrate in a fashion that mimic’s war? There were more than I expected, they were beat up, worn out, and exposed.  Hopefully they all had a place to stay tonight, if my home were as big as my heart id let them stay with me, I bet I could learn a thing or two.

Fare well my brothers and sisters im sure well see ya soon, somwhere on the great homeland!

Founding Father

“the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance. … It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.” - John Adams
