My background includes journalism (newspaper reporter, editor and publisher) and conservation (Congressional staff, Center for Marine Conservation, and Marine Conservation Coordinator for Washington State Coastal Counties). Personally recognized by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown and NOAA Administrator James Baker for efforts leading to the establishment of the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary, one of the largest marine protected areas in the world.Â
Currently working on personal projects involving climate change.
