A look into the acrobatic world of a group of Chinese American teenagers passionate about the ancient lion and dragon dance performing art. The background is San Francisco Chinatown, a neighnorhood that like the rest of the city keeps changing thoughout the years, but still finds ways to bring different generations together. Lion Dance Me is a company founded in 2012 by Norman Lau, a first generation Chinese American living in the Bay Area. It began at a single high school but has since expanded to several, helping countless teenagers connect with their ancestral roots through music and dance.
