Scout Film Festival

Our hearts go out to all who are impacted by the coronavirus. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we're truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need. A shoutout to teachers and parents who have now taken on the task to learn a completely new way of teaching in order to empower the future generation with education.

Now more than ever, we are steadfast in our mission to empower and engage emerging filmmakers, to amplify the voices of our future leaders. This was - and is - our motivation behind creating the Emerging Filmmakers Grant in partnership with Visura.co, sponsored by Colin Trevorrow.

We received thousands of powerful submissions from all over the world, and the process of narrowing down was a challenge. So, we want to thank all filmmakers who submitted their stories to our Grants this year. We celebrate each and every one of you, encourage you to continue perfecting your craft, and look forward to seeing your work in the future!

With that said, we are delighted to announce the Filmmakers whose projects moved on to the final round to be considered by the Industry Jury for either: Winner, Finalist or Honorable Mention.

The final results will be announced online on the original festival/announcement date April 17, 2020.
