Submission Deadline: January 22, 2018
After Scout Film Festival 2017, we asked our filmmakers how we could enhance the Scout experience and they unanimously suggested we raise the submission age! This evolution allows us to build on our mission of encouragement, connection and celebration by more substantially engaging in our filmmakers' careers and providing more aspirational, experienced connections for the truly emerging storytellers aged 18 and under. Thank you for your candor and for trusting us to hear you.
Scout invites filmmakers 18 and under to submit your short film(s) for consideration in the following categories: Animation, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Experimental, Female Filmmaker, Horror, Made in VT, Music Video, Public Service Announcement, TV or Other Broadcast AND...
Announcing the following categories for filmmakers aged 19-24: Short Documentary by Filmmakers Aged 19-24 and Short Narrative by Filmmakers Aged 19-24.
All submissions can be made through January 22, 2018 on FilmFreeway.
We look forward to meeting new storytellers and welcoming back those of you returning for another year.
