This (ongoing) project is about the augmented threat of terrorism in the jewish quarters of in the city of Antwerp, Belgium. In this quarters the largest community of jewish families in Europe are living. Series made in january 2015. Since I only live 45 minutes from Antwerp the augmentation in terror level worried me. As a child my mom and I often went to Antwerp; just to buy some belgian waffles. Walking now in Antwerp with my daughter if feels different now, and we are not even the inhabitants.
