Beginning in 2019, the IWMF led an in-country investigative journalism training program for 85 journalists in Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and the U.S.-Mexico Border as part of the Adelante Latin America Reporting Initiative. We are excited to announce twelve in-country and transnational teams were selected to work on region-wide underreported stories in 2021.
