Drought in India on Al Jazeera

Marathwada, a region inÂ west-central India, is in the grip of a severe drought caused by three consecutive failed monsoons and bad water management practices. More than 1,100 farmerÂ suicides were reported in the region last year, and 216 more took this extreme step between January and March 21, 2016.

A small selection of my work has been featured recentlyÂ on Al Jazeera.

I'm embarking on a two-week trip to the regionÂ next Tuesday and available for assignments.
