I have always sought to find a way to combine images with text using traditional photographic processes. During quarantine, without the ability to process film and without darkroom access, I experimented with making abstract shapes with cyanotype chemistry and adding typewritten text to the resulting images. Every aspect of the process was intuitive; from applying the chemistry to a large sheet of paper to choosing how to cut that paper down to 5x7 pieces to matching my own short written pieces to the patterns.
