Technology plays a big role in children's life more and more from an early age nowadays. The use of smart phones and tablets is a daily activity for many children. Not only they watch cartoons but also they learn quickly how to navigate in internet. As they grow they start playing videogames like Fortnite which reached 250 million registered accounts.
How children leave the experience of watching? In my own experience a lot of anger might rise when it's time to turn off. The debate on the good or bad of this new habit is alive and kicking. Does the experience facilitate any form of learning or is it only blocking the creative process? Is this habit shaping a generation of technology-addicted children? The world seems to completely disappear to them, children are so absorbed that they don’t hear or see anything around them wherever they are.
I witnessed or listened to stories, then re-create the environment to make my portrait.I am collecting stories from parents, relatives, carers and kids themselves, so please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org to share your experience.
