Florida is watercolor and not only because of its water but mostly because of the colors because of people's elusiveness. The last year is definitely not like everyone else, but it's hard to tell the difference. People continue to live their normal lives with more attention, more slowly, and by wearing masks. The anxiety about the pandemic is almost imperceptible - in the disagreement, in the more muted conversations, in the non-celebration. It is more often quiet than noisy. The water in the Gulf absorbs and hides the fears of the people—some more.
