Ugandan musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi Wine, 38, won a seat to Uganda’s Parliament in 2017. Last year, he announced he’d run against the country’s 75-year-old president, Yoweri Museveni, in the 2021 general and presidential elections.

Robert Kyagulanyi has emerged as the voice of millions of young people who live on the margins of Uganda’s economy and politics, stuck in the ghetto or graduating into two decades of jobless growth.

I have decided to dedicate my time, energy, and finances to document Bobi Wine’s campaign trail until January 14, 2021, which is Election Day, and after I hope to keep my eyes open to the signs of hope and struggle by the youth in their quest to take charge of their future
