To celebrate its commencement—The Washington Post has launched the 2018 Washington Post Open Call for Photographers. This open call is an exclusive opportunity for active Visura members to receive an invitation by The Washington Post to feature the winning project or a new project on The Washington Post In Sight photo blog, which showcases the best in visual narratives of our world. The photographer will be paid for his or her feature by The Washington Post.
Past winners: Emily Schiffer, Diana Bagnoli, and Brigitte Grignet.
THEME
Visual stories depicting daily life including, but not limited to, climate change, environment, gun control, the human condition, politics, and culture - from anywhere in the world. We are particularly interested in the visual stories you are photographing where you live.
PRIZE
At least one winner will be selected. The winner will receive an invitation by "TWP" to feature this project or a new project on The Washington Post’s In Sight photo blog. The photographer will be paid for his or her feature by The Washington Post.
DEADLINE:
*The Contest begins October 6, 2018 at 8:00:00 a.m. US Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) and ends on November 11, 2018 at 11:59:00 p.m. EDT.
