Job Opening: Travel Photo Editor

This photo editor will research, edit and assign photography utilizing professional photography agencies and social media with an emphasis on Instagram. The ideal candidate will be comfortable coordinating multiple stories and projects. A solid understanding of photo rights and permissions, a nuanced eye for interesting photography, and the ability to work well with a variety of freelance photojournalists are required.
We’re looking for someone with a portfolio that demonstrates an ability to use photography creatively. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills. Candidates should be comfortable working on deadline.
This job is based in our Washington newsroom and is not eligible for remote work.
