Emirati Woman Nadine Khalifa Al Maskari creates art on her skin and educates people about Vitiligo through social media. In general, this skin condition mostly appears visibly on the skin, leading to phycological and social impact. They may experience trauma, social stigmatization, shame, low self-esteem, and depression.

In this series, I have shown how Nadine surrounds herself with positive influences and the secret of being strong enough with Vitiligo.Nadine noticed discolouration in her skin when she was just 13 – took to social media to talk about her condition and encourage others like her to come to terms with it.Vitiligo is a disease in which the skin's pigment cells, melanocytes, are destroyed in certain areas, leading to white patches on different parts of the body.

"It's not contagious—it's an autoimmune disease," Nadine adds.
