After the crash of the USSR in 1991 and after many years of ruthless exploitation of the nature by the human the capacity of fish provided in the Delta of Volga River region is far from what it used to be.
In the mid of 20th century, Kirosvsky used to be one the biggest fishery towns in the USSR. It used to provide more than 30% of the fish for the whole country.
More than 15000 people used to live and work there.

Today the population of the Town is around 3000 and people have to search for new way of living.
Young people go to the big cities in search of work and education.
The ones that stay there say: "Soon there will be No Fish" and they try to transform to a new way of living.
