The perspective of discovering new countries and cultures was the main aspiration of this project. Drawn to capture black and white landscapes, it inspired me to communicate the dependent and integral relationship humans have with nature.

The contrast between nature and city is intriguing while people build cities that never sleep yet constantly trying to embrace and connect to the environment.

It was inevitable not to notice the need of megalopolitan to implement nature in the big concrete worlds created by humans.

In Singapore, a garden was created allowing people to access the most advanced, outstanding yet largest climate controlled conservatories in the world.

Whilst, some cultures such as the Balines, they devote daily rituals ceremony-infused allowing me to capture the preservation by humans on its culture to connect with the elements of nature.

A dichomy between contemporary cities and nature is the essence of the project. The use of negative space is key to search for the chemistry in these opposite landscapes.

countries visited: China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Australia and Indonesia (Bali)
