Algeria is the largest country in Africa, the Arab world, and the Mediterranean basin. After 160 years under French occupation and a civil war, women lost the rights they used to have.  Now a lady must be unseen. She is not allowed to the cafes or the restaurants, where there is a special place for her when she is accompanied.
