Daily life inside in the Dressing Room at local Latino gay club Jackson Heights, Queens New York. A huge number of LGBT Latino communities come to New York City, in an attempt to run away from the intolerance and violence against their sexual condition. In the dressing room, and out go the troubles and the sorrows. This is a temple of transformation where they all socialize together, honoring the beauty ritual of ‘becoming’.
In this project the subjects transfigured themselves, becoming something luminous into “The Dressing Room” spite of the hardships they left at the door.
Dentro de este camerino la comunidad LGBT Latina deja tras la puerta sus problemas y tristezas este lugar se transforma en un templo de transformación donde se honra la belleza de ser.
