I have dedicated a significant part of my life to photojournalism and documentary photography. You can see some of my work published on CNN and other photoblogs. This fact made me...
Mimos de Arnoia is a project of organic agriculture. In this farm aromatic plants and essential oils are produced. Lavender and roses are the main flowers, but also other edible flowers can be found here. This is an organic and sustainable agriculture project, and diversity is the best condition to keep it going with success. There is also a garden where vegetables of all kinds are produced to feed the people that work in this farm. Most of the workers are volunteers, WWOOFers (wiling workers on organic farms); they live with the hosts, help them with daily tasks and enjoy life as farmers. One can also find other young women and men from an Internship (they are, generally speaking, attending courses of sustainable development or other similar courses).
Isabel Teixeira is the author of this project, "Mimos de Arnoia", a process of creating a more sustainable way of life, and she is also the responsible person for its implementation.
