The Tai Dam women from Ban Na Kham walked through the rice field and up into the forest. They left their lunches in the trees while they collected bitter bamboo shoots for selling at the market.

Currently on show as part of the Kin Khao exhibition with Mick Shippen at I:Cat Gallery in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
