A long drive home thru the frozen backroads and small towns of Vermont and New Hampshire. If the freezing temprerature weren't going to kill me, then getting run over might have. The photograph dictates POV right? So, why is it, that so many images that I attempt to make are either on private property with No Trespassing signs placed all around or needing to be in the middle of a road where its very easy to get run over by vehicles which consider avoiding me akin to some rodent, deer or moose? Wow- dont mind hitting him, but dodnt want to have to wipe that off my pickup truck later.
Nobody has ever said making relevant images and capturing slices of life was easy. There is a certain sense of isolation and coldness that winter brings along to the equation.
Hope you enjoy these and can't wait for the warmer weather to return.
