Sofie Olsen (1985) is a Norwegian photographer currently based in Oslo. She graduated in June, 2011 from International Center of Photography, New York City, attending the Documentary Photography and Photojournalism one-year program. She was awarded ICP´s Directors Fellowship.

In September, 2012 she had her first solo exhibition at syz.y.gy in London, showing her series, Drifters – The Moken People. She won the London Festival of Photography Prize in 2012 with her photo-film I Am Light, featuring an artist living in an alternative encampment in Norway together with Roma Gypsies. Her work has been featured in BBC News In Pictures, Weather Channel, Featureshoot, Visura Magazine´s Spotlight, Dazed Digital, Dagbladet Magasinet and Don’t Panic magazine, among others.
