Documenting East London is an on-going photo essay I have been working since 2013. With this project I intend to cover the cultural diversity in this specific London´s area. From the business and wealth people working in Aldgate, Tower Hill or Canary Wharf, to the biggest London Muslim community living in Whitechapel and in the areas around.
On other hand areas like Dalston, Shoreditch and hackney in general are getting known as very trendy areas. From those there is a huge cultural contrast comparing to the African, Muslim and Jamaican communities who are now part of the gentrification taking place in this area.
On my daily life in London I have been photographing the multi-culturally aspects of this part of the city.
