'Exercises for Moving in Between' began as a personal, site-specific tightrope-walking performance near my family's home in Norway. It continued at the Headlands Center for the Arts where I was a graduate fellow, and later my hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska, combining the practice of rope-walking, repetition and other physical engagements with the medium of tintypes, video and film.
