The 2022 Open Call for Unseen Stories
Visura is looking for unpublished visual stories by Visura members that are ready for licensing. One image from each of the selected stories will be published as part of a feature story on The Visura Blog. This is an opportunity for publishers to look at unseen work by Visura members.

Brief & Application Procedure
- All submissions are made via a Story created from the Visura open-call interface
- Stories may be ongoing or recently completed personal story
- Image size: 6000px on the longest dimension. (sRGB, 200 dpi, jpg format)
- General
- Theme: Unpublished visual stories by Visura members that are ready for licensing.
- All submissions are made via the submission page
- The story may be set to 'public' or 'private' within the Visura system.
- There is no entry fee during the application process.
- What to submit:
- Submission: Create a story for licensing, and upload a minimum of 10 images at a minimum image size: of 3000px on the longest dimension at 200dpi.
- Title: Add the title of the Story, and add a title to each image under the caption.
- Location: Add the location of where the Story was produced, and where each image was taken.
- Caption: Include a caption(s) following AP Standard Guidelines.
- Date of Image: Add the date the story was produced, and the date each image was taken.
- Add Story Statement: Tell us more about the story. What is the story about? Where does it take place? Why is this an important story to tell? Please add any additional perspective or context needed.
