Martha Kazungu is a writer and curator from Uganda. Based in Germany, Martha has served as curator for numerous exhibitions, mostly recently My Mother is Forgetting my Face in Norway. She was co-curator with Katrin Peters-Klaphake of Life Classes: an exhibition of Art on Paper exhibited in Germany in 2020. She curated FAVT – Future Africa Visions in Time exhibition at the Makerere Art Gallery in Uganda in 2019.  Other exhibitions Kazungu has curated include Embodiment of Reason presented at the Uganda National Museum, Uganda (2019), Facing the Climate  at the Uganda National Theatre (2017),  the Ekifananyi Kya Muteesa exhibition (co-curated with Andrea Stultiens and Robinah Nansubuga)  at the Makerere Art Gallery (2017), and Here and Here (co-curated with Yves Makongo, Ange Tchetmi Ndjeukoua, and Mifta Zeleke) at the Asni Gallery in Ethiopia in 2016.

Born in Iganga, Eastern Uganda, Martha completed her undergraduate degree at the University in Kampala, and then a Master's degree in African Verbal and Visual Arts with a focus on curating and media in Africa at the University of Bayreuth in Germany.
