Mason Mirabile (Arlington, VA) has been making short films since he was 7-years-old. His first film, The Alexa Family, was a stop-motion/comedy film exploring what our virtual assistants do when we leave the house. That film won Best Cinematography and was awarded Silver medals for Best Directing and Best Comedy at the 2018 Arlington Student Film Festival.
His 2018 film "Through Your Eyes", an experimental first-person documentary about the seeing the world through the eyes of a newborn, won a National Award of Excellence, and State, District and County awards from the respective Parent Teacher Associations. It also won 'Best in Fest' at the 2019 Arlington Student Film Festival, gold medals for Cinematography, Directing, Original Score or Sound Design, Visual Effects, Screenwriting, and silver medals for Documentary and Editing. In October 2019, Through Your Eyes was screened as an Official Selection at the 2019 Virginia Film Festival where Mason was the youngest director.
Mason's current project, Never Too Small (2019), is a documentary film about Climate Change and how kids and adults can help.
