I am an American freelance photographer born in Wisconsin in 1981. I currently live in Dorado, Puerto Rico with my wife and two children. While living in The Bahamas during 2014-2019, I worked on an independent documentary project photographing Junkanoo culture on the islands of Eleuthera and New Providence.

My drive to create artful photojournalism and documentary photographs was reinforced after attending The Mountain Workshops in 2017, studying under NPPA Photojournalist of the Year Jake May, and in 2019 while participating in a mentorship program with Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey.

In 2018, I participated in “Fairwinds”, a permanent art exhibition in Nassau, Bahamas exploring 150 years of Bahamian art and culture. Later that year, my photographs were also featured in “Junkanoo: Esencia Bahameña” a photography exhibition in Mexico City done in collaboration with The Ministry of Tourism of The Bahamas and Galerías Abiertas de la Ciudad de México.
