In the last few years, a freespace has emerged on the construction site on which the tire manufacturer Continental's factory in Hanover was previously located. At the hot time of the year, the youth of Hanover gather there. The remote location and the naturalness created a place where you can swim, relax and celebrate undisturbed. Now the Wasserstadt Limmer is to be built on the site. A prestigious new building project with expensive condominiums but also with apartments at the social tariff.
The work discusses the importance of cultural freespace in citys. Places where the young can expierience themselves and gain counciousnes for their independence.
