Please sign up by October 31, 2019.

This innovative one-day workshop aims to create an in-person dialogue among photographers about sexual harassment, gender, and its intersections as well as safety in the field. It includes discussions of strategies to prevent negative interactions, to deal with them when they happen and to work past them afterward.

The goal of the workshop is to help photographers work together to support each other and to promote gender equity and safety in photojournalism.

The workshop is led by Maddie McGarvey and Victor J. Blue, two photojournalists who developed the Working Together curriculum and run workshops with the help of volunteer facilitators who help guide conversations.
