Public Story
THE FORESEEN ROUTE
The foreseen route is a selection of panoramic images, in various places in Venezuela, such as Los Nevados, Boconó, Puerto Cruz, and Peru - the highland highway - between 2004 and 2006. In them, in addition to the abundance of details, the common factor is the absence of faces, giving the viewer the possibility of guessing what happens in each photograph.
I call it the foreseen route because they are images in which everyone has to try to complete the story. There is a nostalgia for faces, that's why I think the people who see them and get into the picture, can recreate the situation that was happening at that moment". Elements such as a torso, a house, a fuel, wrinkles in clothing or marked skins are some of the clues I give to put together those stories.
Hp5 film, Xpan camera and Nikon 9000 scanner were used for this series.
