About
Writer, documentary filmmaker, and cultural communications coordinator with a background in ancient world studies and a passion for storytelling that sacrifices neither creativity nor impact.

Issabella has cultivated an aptitude for unearthing aspects of the heritage and cultural sectors that can be creatively and strategically integrated into the pressing conversations of our time, from decolonisation and diversity+inclusion to migration, sustainability and regenerative tourism, through multimedia works and communications. Meanwhile her passion and skill for connecting people and ideas have enabled her to build strong personal and professional networks of people who are, like her, deeply invested in the work they do.

Alongside directing a 3-part documentary series (coming spring 2022), Issabella works on the Heritage Preservation team at Google Arts & Culture to coordinate and creatively guide media projects that digitise, document and publicise cultural heritage from around the world, in partnership with the likes of UNESCO, Global Heritage Fund, and more universities, museums, institutions and organisations form around the world.
