After spreading the Arab Spring around the Muslim countries, also known as the Jasmine Revolution, on February 17, citizens of Libya began to face a war to over trough the dictatorship of Gaddafi on power during the last 40 years. A war with an incredible humanitarian cost, a war that spread a wave of a human right violation

Civilians were strafed and bombed from helicopters and planes. Snipers with high-powered rifles fired into unarmed innocent people. Civilians are still suffering shortages of food and water. Muammar Gaddafi’s military forces are battering them.

The NATO mission has the duty to enforce a no-fly zone over Libya to protect civilians using "all necessary measures”.

Despite the military intervention of a U.S.-led coalition intends to protect civilians, according to the United Nations security council resolution 1973, they are being criticized after all the mistakes and civilians casualties committed by Nato forces.

However, rebels are still asking for the help of NATO due to the lack of resources to face the professional troops of Gadaffi.

After 3 months of the uprising, the nightmare is not over yet.
