Barcelona Covid-19 emergency: Doctors of the World food distribution.

At the height of the pandemic in Barcelona, Médicos del Mundo Catalunya distributed emergency food to women in challenging situations. The reality in Spain is that major NGOs are stepping in and reaching those that the Spanish government has been incapable of helping. It has been the efforts of non-profit organisations, tireless workers and generous volunteers that are helping people survive the economic crisis that comes hand in hand with the health crisis provoked by Covid-19.
