Algeria is the largest country in Africa, the Arab world, and the Mediterranean basin. After 160 years under French occupation and a civil war, women lost the rights they used to have.  Now a lady must be unseen. She is not allowed to the cafes or the restaurants, where there is a special place for her when she is accompanied. Men want more and more to be dressed in traditional  Muslim clothing (abayas) and to engage in their old morals. West is their enemy. Religion and the influences from  Islamic radicalism is The key factor in Algeria.
