The Marika Combat League is a space for the exploration of performativity, where lesbians, trans kids and women searchs for their own place in sport. With pride, they seek to redefine the sports academy and to provide a safe place for all those who have been denied in conventional sports spaces. In my work, I investigate the links between dance, moving bodies, and pleasure. In this project, combat is another way of dancing.
