For the Hugs that Unite campaign of UN Ecuador. It is a campaign that was born with the intention of generating a space  to share and multiply the stories of solidarity and hospitality of Ecuadorians with people of other nationalities  and diverse backgrounds.

Fredy Uscategui, (44 years old) Venezuela. He works as a janitor for Plaza Arenas. He he lives inside,  in a room that the Board of Directors provided for him to reside along with his two daughters 3 years ago.  Fredy arrived in Ecuador in 2015, was eradicated in the Center of Quito.  For a long time I work as an electrician, carpenter, bricklayer among other trades that he calls.  He did several jobs for the merchants of the square until he gained the respect and consideration  of the partners for their work and kindness.

Leydi Torres, (25 years old) Colombia. Surgical Instrumentalist by profession. I arrived in Ecuador two years ago because of a job offer. When I arrived in Ecuador, the reality was different,  the company did not comply with what it had offered. Leidy often talks with his mother and siblings, one older and  one younger, he misses them as well as his hometown Cartagena, Colombia.  Alejandro, her boyfriend and her family have been a key support in adapting Leidy to this new country.  She has found a family and shelter in them, they spend a lot of their free time together,  she helps him in his profession as an artist and he supports her in her daily life, which is more complicated being a woman, migrant and foreigner.
