Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, is among the first COVID-free destinations worldwide and the second-largest marine reserve on the planet. The Government of Ecuador assured that the vaccination of 100% of the population of the Galapagos Islands was completed and, in addition, that between June 13 and 19, no cases of COVID-19 were registered. To revive the islands' tourism industry, which generates $350 million a year.

In this way, the star destination of the country before the international market is positioned as the spearhead of the promotion of the country, before the demand for the "new normality". Ecuador modified a vaccination campaign to vaccinate 100% of the population of the Galapagos Islands.
