My photographs are about perception or illusions. By using objects and mirrors as well as the technical capabilities of a camera, I am able to create the illusion of a flat surface. I create photographs that can be viewed a variety of different ways and exist in a new world.
Perceptions are important to understand and that is not only evident in my work but in reality as well. Perception is key to communication and creates several opinions and possibilities. Illusions reveal how brains organize thoughts but can also distort the senses.
